Nothing says “lakeside” like vintage buoys, but in fact, these were hand-turned and hand-painted right in the shop at The Chairmaker and Friends. Coupled with a local artisan’s handmade decoy, vintage sailboat, and a coat rack crafted in shop, this small scene shows everything to love about Vermilion, Ohio.

This club chair was upholstered in a simple stripe fabric - perfect for any setting, but ideal for Lakeside scenes. Our favorite fabric was used for decorative pillows, and in the background is our array of Nautical decor.

Handmade Windsors, while appropriate for any setting, make a cozy and functional accent to any Nautical scene.

This vintage cabinet was rescued and redone with hand-mixed milk paint, in a bright blue over white, and stressed for depth.

This one of a kind end table was constructed using a porthole taken from an ship, with legs customized to support it.

This window display features some of our favorite nautical decor, including a handmade and painted buoy lamp, an upcycled ladder, a Beagle Bay Knots bowl, and a throw pillow made from a vintage Lyman pennan.
